Monica Barton
3rd Grade Teacher
Bio
Welcome to the third grade!
I am extremely excited to see this new year begin! This year will be filled with fun and new experiences, making new friends, and exploring new ideas. I cannot wait to get to know each and every student. I am looking forward to working with parents and the North Coffee faculty and staff to make this year a memorable and successful year.
A little about me: This will be my eighth year teaching. I was born and raised in McMinnville of Warren County. I am married to Greg Barton and have a son, Carter Barton. He will turn two this year!
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee Technological University (TTU). This year I completed a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. My passion for teaching gets stronger each year I’m in the classroom! I believe that my job is to help guide your children to be the best student they can be and to be the best person they can be.
I can assure you that every child will know that they are loved and respected in this classroom. I believe in a very positive environment, and I am certain your children will help me create and maintain that energy in the classroom.
This will be a fantastic year! Please contact me if you have any questions!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Barton
