Coffee County Schools      2020-2021  Opening for Elementary Schools

Parent Notification:

This school year Coffee County Schools moved to an online registration platform.  Parents of returning first through fifth grade students are required to complete the registration process by August 3, 2020.  Parents who need assistance with the registration process may contact the school beginning July 27, 2020 or you may email your questions to

Due to COVID concerns, visitor restrictions will be in place for our elementary school buildings for the 2020-2021 school year.  On August 3rd the only adults allowed in the building will be staff and parents of kindergarten students and parents of students new to Coffee County Schools.  School personnel will be available to assist your student with carrying school supplies in the building.

All students, first through fifth grade, will be welcomed by their teachers during a class orientation on August 3rd from 7:50 to 9:50AM.  Buses will be running their routes.

As we begin a new school year we want to keep school as normal and traditional as possible. However, different procedures will be in place to protect our students and staff members. Procedures will include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily temperature checks for students and staff

  • Frequent disinfection of surfaces

  • Restrooms will be cleaned multiple times throughout the day.

  • Breakfast and lunch will no longer be self-serve. Meal options for students will continue. Seating procedures will be in place in the cafeteria.

  • Physical education will take place outside as often as weather permits.

  • Technology, equipment, and other shared items will be disinfected.

  • Students will have lessons on proper handwashing and other safety measures to reduce the risk of illness.

  • Students’ personal supplies will remain in individual containers to avoid the sharing of materials.

  • Masks are highly recommended, but are not required.

  • Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle to school.

Please understand there may be changes as we continue to receive new guidance. To stay informed, please refer to our school websites and social media accounts.
